Activate Publisher tasks via ControlM

Good day to all

I am attempting to use the ControlM application by BMC to send an external trigger to QVP9 (Publisher).

I got as far as generating Publisher tasks responsible for reloading QV, but I bogged down on the next step - activating these tasks via external events - Specifically by ControlM.

Any help will be much appreciated.

We have solved the issue in a round about way.

The CTM application activates a batch file that in turn calls (cscript) a VBS file that activated the first task on the publisher.

The next task is triggred by the complition of the first, and so on.

Hi Etay,

I need to get ControlM working with QV but I don't know how ControlM works. Does it need a response from QV to finish executing the Job? Does ControlM have an Active Directory user that executes the VBS File, can I set this as a parameter for the ControlM job?.
