QlikView Backup Strategy

Hello,

I am trying to find any documentation regarding QV Backup Strategy, but unfortunately can't do that. I went through all related posts, but it is still not really explicit what should be done in order to keep company's investment safe by establishing proper backup.

Could you please refer me to any document where QV Backup Strategy reflected?

Hi,

Backup strategy should be put in place for all relevant source data, QVD's and qvw's. This normally falls part normal IT BCM strategies at most of our clients. This is achieved through management of proper file structures as advocated by Qlik (QVData, QVDevelopment, QVDeploy folders, etc.)

You will also want to back up the settings and log files which are normally in

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech
