Cannot lease license from server

Hello,

For one user the license cannot be leased.

Are there any ideas what could be the reason?

Steps that are already made:

Everything is set according to this How to lease the license from the server?
Server was restarted.
The user is using the same internet network.

I do not know what more to check or look for.

Everything works fine for others.

Also, yesterday we have deleted and removed the Document Cal for the same user and for the same document. Today we are giving the Document Cal back to the user. May that be the reason why today the user cannot lease the license?

This document is restricted to qlik customers with a licence. I assume you are a customer with a licence so that the access will be successful if you are registerred correctly as customer - therefore ask qlik or your partner to update this (and maybe faster ask another people in your company if he/she could access these link).

Prerequisites when leasing a license

The following prerequisites must be met to lease a license from QlikView Server

Small Business Edition or Enterprise Edition of QlikView Server
Named user CALs
CAL assigned to user

You should give the username assigned by the Named CAL

Licence leasing in regards to QV Desktop falling back to Personal Edition relates to NAMED USER CALS and not document cals.

Still the user have to go to File > Open in Server, or no?

It is clear that I have misunderstand something.

Nope, it's for NAMED USER CALS, you need to allocate one to the users in QMC and then you the open in SERVER routine.
