Reload Time Problem

Hi Guru's,

In my machine if I reload my sales qvw it is taking hardly 4 mins, If my customer reload same qvw in his machine it's taking around 1hr .But both machine have same configuration. what is the problem ?

break up the qvd in 2 or more parts than it may be reduce the time of reloading

Their might several reasons, to note few

1. RAM availability in his machine, stop all other service and check the reload

2.if your connecting for data source, the data source service might be down

3. web services

etc

Check the log file from your machine and other user and try to find out which part is taking maximum time.

as Avinash suggested check RAM availabilty, CPU utilization and network strength.

Hi,

Let's not forget that there may also be some additional security added on DB site (if your sales qvw extracts the data from DB). Maybe your userId has higher privilege than your customer. But of course everything mentioned above will have an impact on the reload time too.
