I am having this issue as well with Qlikview 11.2.

For me, this only happens when a user is using the ajax plugin and is opening the file without saving it first.

As a temporary solution I have told them to save the file as an xls, and then they can email it as they please.

I am interested to see if there is a solution to having it download as an excel file and not an aspx file.

If have this case : when an user clicks on the Send to Excel button (XL), normally i would expect a strange filename from the temporary location. But in this case, the filename is looking like this "QvsViewClient.aspx.

When a enduser now within excel clicks on "mail excel" .. the attachment has a .aspx extension and the receiver can't open the file (unless he renames it).

Anyone else got this problem, and was able to fix it?

Thanks in advanced
