Qlik License Server IP, protocol and port

Hi.

To be able to contact the Qlikview License Server when using the button "Update License From Server" in the QMC we need the IP address on the License Server, the protocol and port that the communication is going through.

Where can these informations be found.

Hi,

AFAIK, you don't need to have this.

Any how the ports information is listed in below post

QlikView Ports

To update Licence by Clicking on Update button, You just need internet on server.

If you don't have Internet. Ask you Qlik Contact to provide you Updated LEF.

Go to server and Apply Licence key Followed by Control Number and enter LEF.

Click on apply, your license will be updated.

The port that is used is port 80 and the license server is 188.65.156.73

Hi Ashfag.

Thanks. The Customer has due to security shot down for all outgoing communication and we therefore need these specifications to set up the firewall etc.
