Lease License Error

Hi All,

I tried to take lease license but am getting the attached error.

Open in server ---qvp://Ajay@xxxx.org

Authentication :Logon as a specified user ---Ajay---Then password.Then am getting the below error.

Try using the server IP address.

Is your ID or username being added in server as Named CAL?

HI,

Go Through the attached document for more options.

Make sure firewall is off.

You cannot lease license from QlikView Test server.

qvp://10.139.13913@xxx then am getting the logon on user also same as ip and then i have given the password.

But not working.

Thanks Ashfaq.One thing am getting doubt the same user id is used by one of colleague with the same sttings which i mentioned above and thats working fine in his pc.

Only one Person can take lease license with one id or multiple people can access?

Make sure port 4747 is not blocked between you and the server.

Thanks Bill.That 4747 port should enable at server side or at the network where am using.

That is working in my colleague side in the same place.

How many people will take lease license based on one id at a time?

Only two lease per ID is supported.

Well, I would check your machine and see it the local firewall is on. The error you are seeing is the normal reply if the local client cannot communicate with the server on port 4747.

You can try to telnet to the server and see if it is answering.

Telnet IPofServer 4747 if you get a blinking curser they port 4747 is open.

Thanks Bill..

I have tried like this TELNET <10.120.1291> 4747; Then getting message like "The system cannot find the file specified"

TELNET 10.120.1291 4747; then getting "Telnet is not recognized as on internal or external command"

Where the option to check firewell on?4747 port should open at server side or my work plce?

You must enable the "telnet" - How to Activate Telnet in Windows 7: 9 Steps (with Pictures)

Now, have you try to turn off you local machine firewall?
