Cannot create new sheet objects from QlikView IE plugin

Hi,

I want to create new sheet objects from QlikView IE plugin, but the option to create sheet objects is disabled. Please let me know if there is any setting to enable it. I have enabled all the user privileges in security tab of sheet properties and document properties but it did not help.

Samir,

If your license does not restrict creating Server Objects. (This was the case of QV Small Business Edition until recently.) You can enable the creation of server objects in the QV Management Console -> System -> QlikView Servers -> QVS@servername -> Documents tab. The option is called "Allow Server Objects".

It could also be disabled in the in the QV Management Console -> Documents-> User Documents -> filename.qvw -> Server tab.

Also note that the user must be authenticated on the server; if an anonymous connection it will not be available.
