Hello

I'm trying to configure a Task for distribute document with QLIKVIEW PUBLISHER but I have always this type of error in EVENT VIEWER

The task "Task Test" failed. Exception:

QDSMain.Exceptions.DistributionFailedException: Distribute failed with errors to follow. --->

QDSMain.Exceptions.SourceDocumentNotFoundException: Could not find SourceDocument (Distribution): <Templates>

at QDSMain.DistributeTask.Execute(TaskResult currentTaskResult)

My document is in

Hi,

The error says that is unable to locate the Source Document for that task, and the name of the file or folder is likely Templates. Does that file or folder exist within your Source Document folders?

Hello, I have deleted the old task and I have made a new task. I must to understand well distribution mechanisms of the QLIKVIEW Publisher.

You know tell me a good tutorial that is not the Reference Guide of the Server?

Well, you shouldn't really need any tutorials to do what you are trying to do. But you didn't answer my former question; "Is the document under the "Orphans" node in the tree there?".

Also, where is the task? I don't see any task in your source document view - so how can you execute it?

maybe in my previous test I made some mistakes so I saw the task as templates.

Now I have deleted the previous task and I have configured a new task under the document and it works

I wondered if there was any better guide reference guide to understand well QLIKVIEW SERVER

and PUBLISHER
