Custom User Connect

Hello everybody,

i need your help.

I created a Custom Directory and a Custom User but i can't connect.

With User from the Domain ,there is no problem.

i've founded this :

http://community.qlik.com/thread/28366 but it did not solve my problem.

Setups:

File control:

-DMS authorization (QlikView controls file access)

Web Server:

-Login Adress:Alternate login page (web form)

-Type:Ntlm

-Authentication:Always

I can find the user custom\user but the connection always failed.

Hi Lukas,

You have selected NTLM that means that the user credentials are going to be validated against an Active Directory. Select instead the Custom Type, and set the custom domain you have created in DMS.

Hi Lukas,

If you only have one server, you cannot, since authentication needs to be one of either NTLM or CUSTOM. You can create as many CUSTOM users as NTLM you already have, and try to set that CUSTOM domain equal to the domain that already exist. Meaning that if your domain is DOM, your custom DMS domain is DOM, and all users authenticate using this field.
