Has anyone of you opened a QlikView document through the IE-plugin with a parameter before and share his/here knowledge with me?

My goal is to make a QlikView document. In this document you can select for instance a year. Through a button with a macro I will open another QlikView document. Now the value of the selected year in the overall document should be the value in the new to be opened document.

Hi cbscons, does your problem still exist or do you have already a solution? I have the same problem. I want to start a QV-application from our telephone software. So when an external call comes in, a special QV-document should be startet with the Tel.No. as a parameter. The macro and the parameters are not the problem, but the start of the applikation.
