hello Everyone,

We are planing to buy some more Named User CALs for our Company. I have a question , Is it possible to use the same Named User CAL that a user Lease from the QlikView Server for other Desktop Eddition of QlikView? As we have selected on QlikView server that identify user with userName instead of Machine Name and IP is same. If we can do this , then please explain How? If not then please tell any alternative solution.

Hello salman,

yes, you can lease the license with your username.

One user can lease a named document on two diffenrent computers at the same time. This includes the 24 hour qurantine to change the computer.

Thanks Martin for quick reply, So its not possible to switch to other PC after one user has done working on the report ,immediately?The other user will have to wait for a period of 24 hr to use the same Named User CAL? Is there any other way arround to use Less Named CALs and more Users can benefit from it?
