Good mornning, I update QV server from 11.2 to 12.2 because we need export 200.000 rows to Excel .

QlikView November 2017 - the latest feature release for QlikView - 12.20. New features including:

after update when clik export to Excel in a grid still apears xls format.

Could you help me?

Is the export to xlsx feature something we need to enable? If so, how and were?

Getting the same issue, is there a setting somewhere to use XLSX?

I have the same problem! It is very "strange" that on the same server, two clients with the same Excel version do the same thing differently!

With a client export to excel results a xlsx, but another client exports as xls!

Funny, isn't it?

And nobody has answered the question since Feb. 6, 2018!

Check the Easter egg function SendToExcelLegacyFormat=1 for exports to xls instead of xlsx
