Hello,

I am looking for a solution, how can send our QlikView cluster emails from Publisher with SMTP Server, which requires SSL authentication. I found in Internet a document in attachment. It works fine for our test QlikView Server. All components of QlikView (QVS, QDS, DSC, QVWS and QMS) are installed on the same Server.

In production we have a Cluster: 1 Webserver with Management Console and 2 QlikView Servers with QVS and QDS, DSC. Here I have to Change the configuration files on different Servers. Afterwards works the authentification to SMTP Server, but the Password will not be encrypted.

What I have to change yet?

Hello Bill,

thanks for your comment. Yes, QlikView saves the Password encrypted but sends to Exchange Server unencrypted. Meantime we have solved the problem together with Qlik.

QlikView sends the Password unencrypted as test from Management Console only.

If the email will be sent from Publisher, it works fine.
