LEF (License Enabling File) would be transferred to your installation when you submit your License key and control no during the licensing process. But back to your question, yes you can use the same license key for newer version of QlikView.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have a maintenance agreement, you can use the same license key to move to a newer version of QlikView.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But it would not work if you are using the LEF from version 9. It will need to connect to the QlikTech License server to verify the key.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
