distributing/authentication of application based on computer name

hi all,

i have a requirement , that one application needs to be opened/seen in access point when they open it in some particular computer/local machine....

these local machines are out of domain but within the company's network

how to achieve this ??

Have you tried section access with the NTSID field?

one more question, how do i distribute them in publisher based on host name

and to run this application....should i need to add service account(by which qlikview services are running) in section access

Sri,

i'd suggest you should use the QVServer DMS security mode with custom users. If you do things with section access, the service user should have full rights in data matrix (admin).
