Publisher PDF distribution sporadically Fails

Hi everyone.

I hope someone can help me in this case.

We sporadically encounter this error Message, when publisher tries to generate PDF Reports out of a Document:

Additional info: It is a pretty large QVW file and t when restarting all services the PDF Task runs without errors for an undefined period of time. Then suddenly it fails again. We already set the Printer timeout to 120 seconds and updated to 11.2 SR5

Hi Philipp

I too have the same error message when trying to distribute a pdf report. I have reduced the report to a simple single object single page PDF report and still have the smae error message. I too am running 11.2 SR5.

Have you managed to find a solution?

Hi Scott, it seems to be a known issue on the community.

Another user gave me the advice to adjust the font size of the PDF Document to reduce the number of Pages.

So the Error shoud occur less frequently. But it does not solve the Problem on its basis.
