Hi All,

I would like to get an alert if a Qlikview application fails to run. Is there a way I could setup an alert from QMC or any other way I could get an alert?

Is System => Setup => Distribution Services => Alert E-mail/E-mail Templates what you're looking for?

In the QMC in System -> Setup

Click the voice Distribution Services to set address and templates of your email

In your task you need to enable Notification (Edit Task > Distribution > Notification) along with the other changes advised.

1. You will need to configure (and test) an SMTP mail server in the QMC that will relay the email from QlikView.

Server | Mail Server

2. Configure the alert recipients. You can separate multiple recipients with semi-colons. The email is sent to all recipients.

Server | Distribution Services <select server> | Alert Email

3. You can customise the message in Email Templates.

Open QMC

System >> Setup >>Mail Server

Send all e-mails to: abc@gmail.com

you will see email options in bottom enter your email id there you will get alert on every task fail.

Hi,

In general alert is scheduled for all documents in

QMC - System -Management service - Qlikview servers - alerts tab.

User is send alert when any one document fails to load for email

addresses of users specified here.

Yes if you want to see all the successive task run in QMC you can see on Document Log sheet.
