Adding User Groups To The QMC

Hello All,

I have just working for a company where we are have a set of Qlikview developers and I have the pain staking task, at present, to add myself each and everytime I need access to a qlikview document on the server to view as a webpage.

Is there any way to setup a qlikview practice group where by this gives access to the report to all of the users within that group?

This way if we have another new starter they will be able to be a part of the group and immediately allowed access to all of the reports that have been created.

Are you using QV Publisher ?

Hello Bill,

No we are not using Qlikview Publisher just the server.

I know the Publisher way to do this, but unfortunately I am not sure how to do it without Publisher.

Hopefully somebody else will.

Hi,

You can do this through NTFS permission on the document.
