Hi,

When I am trying to recover the session in Ajax(Close and Restore at the right top of the window), the values of the variables are getting lost.

Let me make it more clear.

I have a variable V1=1.

I go to a particular sheet and there I have a trigger to set a value to the variable.

Set Variable V1=2.

Then when I recover the session, it is taking me back to the sheet where I have lost the session but it again shows the value of the variable as V1=1 which should be 2.

Did anyone came across this?

Cheers,

Naresh

However, if the session is lost in access point(Ajax), the value will be shown as 0 again. Any idea?

Cheers,

Naresh

Because, if you recover the session(Close & Restore), the user will be taken back to the same sheet but with different data(if you are using the values of the variables to calculate something).

Cheers,

Naresh

this is just my opinion since i was work for qlikview partner office in my country..many people expect more than they know..specially people still misunderstood about what Business Intelligence is. First thing we have to know that BI is not an Apps or ERP apps or any business apps..BI is BI..where peoples..not only you or 1 people can use..or look at it..BI apps is use for many people at the same time..at the same document for many different purpose..that is why BI cannot store information like an apps..because BI only can read and visualize the data..for QV nothing you can expect more for variable..and I think for any BI apps..when you open or restoring the document..they must be open the default document you create before..because they don't store any data from us..even in web apps we know we have a session..but BI still have to open for us their default document..have you ever imagine if we can store the document in BI..and many people changing or storing any data at the same time..it is not BI..thx
