Unable allow document to be loaded by the QlikView Server

The licence has 5 documents. Total 4 documents in folder, two of them are loaded. But the rest is greyed out and I am unable to tick "Allow this document to be loaded by the QlikView Server".

Once the server was installed the folders with test-documents where loaded, but now that they are removed - how can I clear this?

hi logoho,

If the QV server is installed in XP or 2003 then go to Documents and Settings--> AllUsers--> Application Data--> Qliktech--> Qvs-->

you will find pgo and other files. Delete it. (please take a backup of it before deleting it, Also you need to close the Qlikview Server and Qlikviewe Web Server before doing it).

if its 2008 or Vista -- then you will find the files in C:\Programdata\ etc etc..

Deepak,

I have the same issue. Are you saying one should delete all files in that directory including the temp directory underneath it?

should we only remove the pgo files?

There are some txt files which are logs which should not matter.... Does the data in these get lost when re-started or are they appended to?

There is also a dat file and an ini file... Should these be removed?

hi,

Your issue will be solved either by deleting pgo or dat. It depends on the issue you are facing. Deleting pgo will delete the licenses assigned to users.

Do take a back up before deleting the same.
