Are you aware of any problems or difficulties that may arise when the active directory server and QV 10 SBE server are installed on the same physical machine?

With version 10 there are some problems,

But version 9 sr6 is stable.

Thanks! What kind of problems usually appear? Is it not recommended to have this configuration at all? As it is a new installation, I would like to install v10 right away if possible.

Installing Qlikview Server 10 on a Domain Controller is not supported and definitely not recommended. This is mainly because the fact that there are no local groups on a domain controller, so the Qlikview Administrators group will not be able to be created and/or used.

It is also bad from a performance and architectural point of view, even in a Small Business environment, since Qlikview works best in it's own dedicated environment.

No worries. I actually think this recommendation is in the release notes of Qlikview 10 as well.

While not recommended, is it at all possible via some sort of workaround and/or modifications to install QlikView Server 10 on a domain controller?
