Hello,

I have installed QlikView Server on a new Domain, the service QlikView Server doesn't start. In the windows event logs an error occurs: Failure on Port 4774. Our IT admin says there is no entry in any firewall where the QlikView server tries to communicate on port 4774.

Can anybody describe what exactly QV server does with the port 4774 and is there another possibility to open the port exept on the firewall.

I think the port is used for tunnelling as a route from the client to the server.

I think you can set the port in the server settings.

I think port 4747 is also used?

In Qlikview server open the port 4747 .

QV Server communicate with help of 4747 and 80 .

so for communication on network this both port should be accessible through client.
