Incremental Load from BSEG not working

Hello.

This is the bottom part of or coude that used to work (like 90% of the time at least):

SQL SubSelect MWSK1 MWSK2 MEINS MANDT VERTT etc PFKBER
from BSEG
Where BUKRS GJAHR BELNR IN (Select BUKRS GJAHR BELNR From BKPF WHERE CPUDT >= '$(vMaxDate)')

But now, it's giving "Custom Read Failed" error every single time after like 30 minutes of trying.

What could it be?

Are there better ways to do an incremental extraction from BSEG?

Do you have qvws of how you do these Deltas from BSEG?
