    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wow. I didn’t even think of doing that. Let me  ask you this. The value is a date value that is getting populated. This is the output: 3/18/2013 0:00&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I just display the date and exclude the 0:00?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you so much for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Luch&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The best way of saying thank you is to mark answers as correct/helpful &lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/happy.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BTW, you can also define date format on the object level.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One important note: when you use &lt;STRONG&gt;floor&lt;/STRONG&gt;(YourDateField) function, you make the field shorter by removing the time part, hence saving noticeable amount of application size.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
