I can confirm that if a second user accesses from a different host, for example directly through access point using Firefox with Modify Headers there is no issue.

So it would appear to be the requests coming from the same host that is the issue here.

Is there any way to configure Qlikview to allow the different DMS users from the same host?

Setting the Qlikview WebServer to Always Tunnel does allow two user accesses from the same host, but it is not working through the http servlet.

QV11 SR1

Whenever a second DMS authorised user accesse the same document we recieve the error in the headline...........

We are using DMS Authorisation, but whenever a second user attempts to access a document the initial users instance is destroyed with th log indicating the following has occurred.

Killed because Named User Cal was needed from another client

The users are NOT using the same username. We utilise the QVUSER Header with CUSTOM\ prefix. I can see that the CALs have been dynamically allocated to the users.

Our HTTP calls to access point go through a proxy http servlet which adds the QVUSER HEADER to all requests, so my I am wondering if Qlikview is objecting to all the calls coming from the same host, although for different users.

I have seen several posts regards different hosts and the same DMS user causing problems, and can appreciate that.

I do believe that this functioned correctly with Qlikview 9.
