I have found the solution. I can manually change the variable type in the "Change Document Format" window. Apparently, qlikview had one variable automatically set as date, and the other as mixed.

Hi.

In my current dashboard, i have two calendar objects, which are to be used by users wanting to see data relevant to a certain period.

The issue i'm having is, that one of the variables stores the date selected in "Y/M/D" format, and the other variable stores the date in an integer value.

Considering that either way, the calendar shows the date correctly, this wouldn't be an issue if the value would be only shown in the calendar, and used "behind the scenes" (in functions), but i'd like to use those values in a report, coupled with the "selected values" box.

How can i prevent the other date to be stored in integer value?
