topic Error in script in QlikView

Error in script

Hi,

I have to qvws the script in both of them is the same except for loading different values.

the first qvw is loading data inside the script ...

LOAD * Inline [

Pkg, DateTime, Status

P1, 06/11/2011 09:30:00, Picked up

P1, 06/11/2011 09:30:05, In transit

]

and the second is loading from excel with the same structure..

Can anybody figure out why the second is showing error..field not found(even i have the field in the xls file.

Hi,

Its hard to find the error whenthere's no source file and no specific info when is the error occured.

My suggestion for now is, try to load the text file with a common way first and take a look on the fields naming result and check the delimited.

The fields are fine.

iam using the same file on a diferent qvw and thenload has no issues.

I had the same error loading from Excel recently. The reason was that the field names in Excel contained spaces. For example, it looked like
"Status"
But actually it was
"Status "
Can't tell that you have the same problem but certainly worth checking.
