topic Server in QlikView

Hi All

I have installed Qlikview 11 Server but when i am opening the access point I am getting the message NO SERVER and when i am opening the Qlik view management Console I am getting the message 2 OR MORE SERVICES ARE DOWN. In services.msc all the qlikview services are Statred>>>>>>>

Can you please list which services are listed as running in the Services application, and which ones are reported as not running under QMC.

Have you re-started the box post installing QV11? Although not always neccesary it does often help things along.

i don't know list of services which fall under services and QMC ????? can u plz tell me that also??

Hi there,

On a working server I would expect the following Windows services to be running and set to start automatically:

QlikView Directory Service Connector

QlikView Distribution Service

QlikView Management Service

QlikView Service

QlikView Webserver

And on the Status \ Services tab of QMC the following should be flagged as running:

DSC@servername

QMS@servername

QVS@servername

QVWS@servername

ReloadEngine@servername

Where servername is the name of the machine hosting your QlikView server.

Please let me know which of these are missing or not shown as running.

All the windows services are fine and started but in QMC QVS and QVWS are showing disconnected
