Not able to access QEMC and QMC through IE

Hi,

I am not able to open QEMC and QMC.

Environment Details:

QlikView Developer Version – 10.00.9282.8 SR 4

Window OS - Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Service Pack 1 (64 bit edition)

Number of CPUs – 24

Ram Amount – 64.0 GB

All the QlikView services are started. I am sending all the services details, software installation details.

Also Internet Explore screen details.

All the file are attached in JPEG format.

Please help me on this ASAP.

Hi Akumar,

Have you made sure that the user rtying to run QMC is in the Qlikview Administrators group on the QV Server?

All the access has been assinged to QlikView Administrator and I have the right for the same.

instead with localhost, try to open it with URL that contains full server name.

Hard to suggest what to do, but try with this:

- see if there is anything written in QV Management log file on the server

- check server event log

- verify under which account that service is running (it should be dedicated QV service account)

- try to call AccessPoint portal with IE from the server. See does it work.

Hi,

AccessPoint portal with IE from the server is working well.

All the scheduled task is also working well.

But QEMC and QMC is not opening by IE (Internet Browser)

Yes, It is runing, so that my application are reloading and distributing to end user and development server.

It could be blocked through firewall - normally the access to qemc is over Port 4780.

Have you try it so:

http://YOURSERVERbestPerIP:4780/qemc/Default.htm

in a browser without transfer User to the server (launched a popup for credentials). If yes it are the access rights. You are also sure that you are in the same domain how the server?

I do not understand "without transfer User to the server" ... but

1) opened the popup and put my credentials registered in installing QVS.

2) This user is in the Administrators group QlikView.

3) It is the same domain.

The popup is good, it meant the qemc is available. Perhaps not all firewall settings are disabled, also there are rules from group policy in the domain network which could blocked the access ...
