hey ashutosh , thanks for the help. Just want to know is it necessary to have outlook or some other email client on the system to send mail.

Hi,

To send mails there are 2 ways

1 is by using SMTP server

2 is by using client such as Outlook installed in the system

If you want to send mail using SMTP then you don't need any email client because it will be directly sent through SMTP server.

If you want to send it through Email Client such as Outlook then you need client to be installed in the system.

Your organization should have a SMTP server, you can ask for the details from your IT support.
