Restart accesspoint services

Hello all,

I have question ; we want to restart services of our accesspoint server ; do you know if it is useful to retsart the QV Web Server Services with the QVServer ?

Hi Jaymerry,

What do you exactly mean by "restart services of our accesspoint server"? If it's because you have changed something in the interface, restarting the QV Webserver should work.

Anyway, I would recommend to full stop and start services from the Windows Services Console (Windows button, run, services.msc)

Thank you for your answer.

To summarize : our Qlikview system is built on two servers :

Server 1

- QlikView Server

- QlikView WebServer

Server 2

- QlikView Distribution Service

- QlikView Directory Service

- QlikView Management Service

For better performance and stability, it is recommended to schedule every week or every day the restart of services of server 1. Could you confirm that all services should be restarted (not only QVServer) ?

Yes, given the distribution of services, I'd restart all of them.
