Qlikview server timeout error from client

Hi Everybody,

I have installed Qlikview server 9 SR7 successfully and am trying to open server option through the Qlikview client of the same version, upon which i get the attached error.

The server does not have the firewall enabled and also, i have verified using the command netstat -a -n that the port 80 is being listened to. Please help me resolve this issue.

i got this error many times .

the reason if you are not typing correct password

Hi Sunil,

The option chosen in the open server is 'normal account'. On keying in the password.. correct password.. this error is displayed. would there be any other reason for this error.

Let me know if any additional information provided to you will help you identify this issue.

did you select user

in option below Ip

if not then select user and then open and then password

the user was selected and then after validating, the password was requested, and upon typing the password this error pops up. the issue is also, that i am able to view the reports through Mozilla Firefox upon typing in the url.. but not through IE. are both these issues related ?

i still suspect that passwod shold be wrong.

may be because IE plugin which good suited for qlikview.
