Not able to show Gantt Chart

Hi All,

I am making gantt chart in my application, but not able to view, in chart area i can only see one progress bar with writeen over it - Loading Chart, Please Wait.

Where you are trying to view this chart?

Gantt chart is installed as an extension object and can only be viewed in Browser or in Web view mode (in desktop).

hi Ashutosh,

I didn't find any Gantt chart in web browser or web-view mode(Desktop).

I'm uisng Qlikview10 SR3.

Hi prasanth,

i tried to open th Gantt.qvw file in given path, but it is not opening the file and generating a message attached below.

To have a Gantt chart in my qvw file what to do ?

Hi satish47.venkat,

Gantt chart is not a standard chart and is available as an extension object.

So, it needs to be installed before being used.

Please go to the path suggested by prasath_pp there you should find it.

If any issue then let us know.

As I said it first needs to be installed.

The mesage you see says that you have successfully installed it and now you can use it.

Go to your Qlikview Desktop, make a new QVW or open any QVW file and click in Webview mode and select Gantt chart from there.

Hi,

You just need to double click on the qar file to install any extension.

Same for Gantt Chart.

After installing you can right click on the sheet, Goto new sheet objects option, there u can see Extension Objects option at the bottom of that window.

You have reached to correct point.

Just click on the Extension Objects toolbar and you will see all the installed Extension ojjects.

Hi satish47.venkat,

Yes, You surely can do it.

Extension objects are just files extracted and put into a directory.

So, Just go to

C:\users\ashutosh\appdata\local\qliktech\qlikview\extensions

..You need to change the above address appropriate to your system, this is my systems's path (I am using Win 7), so in similar fashion you can do it for yourself.

Here, you will find all the extensions objects installed. So, just remove the object (delete the folder for that object) which you don't want and you will not see it.

Thanks for ur efforts. I followed this process only for making gant chart, but as i mentioned in my first post , i m not able to see the chart. The chart is showing message Loading in progress.

I am also facing now this problem. Only displays "Loading Chart, Please Wait.".
