Extension for making hierarchy.

Hi All,

I Want to create a SalesRep Hierarchy using extension. I saw the Extension Example of QV 11 --Organisation Chart.

Can someone please guide me how can i bring the same object in my Application or how can i create the same in my application.

From where i need to sart?

Doubleclick on Extension Examples.qar in folder C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions (depending on where you have installed QlikView). It will install extension objects. Then create a new document, go to View --> Turn on/off Web View and then right click in the document and choose New Sheet Object --> Extension Object. There will be the organizational chart also available. It only works in Web View.

hi Loannis,

thanks a lot ..i read many post but got no answer from where to start..thanks it was a great help.

I followed ur steps , I got the Organisational Chart as an option in the extension object list but when iam clicking on that particular chart or and other chart from the list of extension object. no action is being performed.the same screen remains.and no chart is created.Am i doing something wrong?

it took some time to figure out!

Don't click, drag and drop and it will work!
