      <title>Set analysis not working in Server</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My set analysis works in local computer application. however when deploy into web access. that particular chart has error" No data to display".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other charts using the same data are working fine&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;would need some advice on how to revise this set analysis, so server 11 can interpret it. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the purpose is to show last 6 months only. Dimension limit will not do that job.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MTK_MONTH_YEAR={"&amp;gt;$(=date(addmonths(maxstring(MTK_MONTH_YEAR),-6),'MMM-YY')) &amp;lt;=$(=date(maxstring(MTK_MONTH_YEAR),'MMM-YY'))"}&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this is the potion that is causing the issue..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My desktop application is Qlikview NOV 2017 SR3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The server should be 11. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MTK_MONTH_YEAR&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jul-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aug-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sep-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oct-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nov-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dec-17&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan-18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Feb-18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mar-18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apr-18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May-18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;looks like you have issue in date interpreting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333px;"&gt;As per my understanding here MTK_MONTH_YEAR is interpreting as string that's why max() is not working. If it is in string then you can not use it for range period that's why &amp;gt;= and &amp;lt;= is not working.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;modify your script where you have written MTK_MONTH_YEAR field&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;modify it as&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;date(date#(MTK_MONTH_YEAR,'MMM-YY'),'MMM-YY') as MTK_MONTH_YEAR&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then use same use set analysis which you use in your local machine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Prashant Sangle&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

However it is giving error when deployed in server, it was fixed using MaxString(MTK_MONTH_YEAR). This is for other basic charts.. Hence i used similar approached for this query too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

It is not interpreting as date , it is reading as string, because of that max() not working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;try below in text box&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=addmonths(maxstring(MTK_MONTH_YEAR),-1)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just check is the above expression evaluating or not??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
