Email Conditions (Macro or Script?)

I have an application that tracks QVD record loads for each day, It displays the last 5 days, the record count and the percent that the record count changed based on the average record count from the last 2 weeks. (see below visual)

We have not yet had experience setting Emais to be sent based on a specific application or QVD. Would I use an in app macro variable of some sort or directly in the script to generate an Email and would you have an example of such? We would like to generate an Email if the % changes by a specific amount so that we do not have to monitor the app daily. We do have Visual Cue that runs the % column red, but we have to view the app to notice this. Thank for any help.

I've not used them but look into Alerts.

Well does anyone have an experience with these alerts and settings them based on the visual cue set or % a field changed over night?
