Hi, I have tried to connect QlikView 10 on ODBC Connection Oracle.

First I configured the ODBC Administrator and tested the connection (Successful)

When I push the button Connect QlikView Shows me this ODBC CONNECT TO [EBPDFM;DBQ=EBPDFM1_ENTEL.WORLD]

Until now everything is good, when I push the button Select QlikView shows me the tables and I selected the Table XXXX

SQL SELECT * FROM

TableXXXX

So When I push reload appears a message like that: Look at the picture please.

I have read about this. Maybe is the version because on QlikView 9 Ask for user and pass.

Note: User preference Encripted User and Password is checked.

Estimado, yo desarrollo en versión 9 donde mis OBDC creadas no las hago con usuario y contraseña, dentro de mi experiencia la versión 10 requiere un ODBC con usuario y contraseña para el acceso.

Thanks Antonio. Has anyone this problem with QlikView 10? I have tried with another server and pasted the encripted User and Password and works but in this case not.

Please Help.

I found this:

I didn't try debugging, this was happening in QV 10 and Oracle client: SQL*Plus: Release 11.2.0.1.0 Production on Wed Mar 16 12:45:42 2011.

I installed QV9 and it started working.

Note: When I run reload on QV9 it asks for user name and password for ODBC connect and it does reload. But in case QV 10 it did never ask for any user name and pwd for ODBC connection.

I Found the solution You have to put the information into the first window not in the second one

ODBC CONNECT TO [EBPDFM;DBQ=EBPDFM1_ENTEL.world] (XUserId is fXAUEcBPTbYMWTVMTTNB, XPassword is ROXBIcBPTbYMWTVMTLGB);
