Current stock Issue

Hi Friends,

I am facing a problem while calculating the Current stock.

I am working on a database that is from Mar-2011 to till date.

I am attaching the qvd needed for this.In this there is a date field ENTDT and Qty will be stock.Data will be considered from Mar-2011.

Now what i want to do is that when a user select the month and year the Cureent stock shold be sum from starting date and date selected.

ie it must be from March-2011 which will be same to the date selected by user.

I am using the max(ENTDT) but i am not getting the appropite result

Thanks for the reply.But when i make Month and Year field from the date field,and on selection of Month and Year it is not giving sum.
