Where is user preference stored

Hi , We have locked machiens and we want to push Qlikview Server Access Point(URL) value. I wanted to know if there is system regisrty or some ini file which storing these values.

See in user registry (HKCU) or in

C:\Users\USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView\Settings.ini

Thanks.. I was able to see in Settigns.ini file, but could not find the same in HKCU. Can you please guide me on that?

It is not in both. In earlier opertion systems it was in registry, in the newer - in ini.

Well the challenge is that we want to push our portal url there by default witout user doing this manually. Their machines are locked and we want to push it.. so can we have some batch file that we can execute to update this registry.ini file.

I'm sure it is possible. IT processes is not my strength, so I'm not going to speculate how to do this. Maybe you want to start a new thread with a question "how to push..." rather then "where to find...".
