I'm kind of new to the world of Qlikview and would like to prepare for QlikView Developer Certification exam.

Please suggest any resources.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You may be interested in our book "QlikView 11 for Developers" (QlikView 11 for Developers - QlikView Book) I've heard from quite a few developers who've used it to successfully prepare for their QlikView 11 Developer Certification.

Barry, do you know how many Questions does the test has? 80 or 105 the FAQ has both it seems.

Hi Guys,

I got my Certification Developer\Designer few days ago.

below are sections wise questions and for total questions you can use =sum(questions)

Section: Gather and Interpret Requirements

6 Questions:

Section: Identify and Analyze Data Sources

13 Questions:

Section: Create the QlikView Associative Data Model

27 Questions:

Section: Design and Develop the QlikView Application User Interface

17 Questions:

Section: Deliver the QlikView Application

7 Questions:

1) i will suggest you to read qlikview reference manual carefully and go through with each property of each object;

you can have a question like, how many expressions can be written in Gauge chart,(2, 5, 3) so you should be familiar with the all properties of an object.

2) qlikview 11 for developer book is much much help full, i learnt a lot by this book.book's link is in the above post, if you are not going for certification than too, i think you should read this book, you will be master after reading this book.

3) Read all Blog \Documentst Written by HIC. http://community.qlik.com/people/hic/profile

Hi Khan,

Congratulations for the exam.

1) I thought it was a quizz. it should be quite difficult to answer A, B or C for a requirement, data modeling ...

2) The questions on interfaces are therefore very few (around a quarter !!)

thank you..

its not much difficult, if you have IT Background, and not much easy too.

but if you have read Reference manual, and HIC Blogs and have worked on qlikview 3, 4 months.

you can get it.

as you saw in section wise question, more questions are in Data Model Sections,

where they will ask like Join, Keep, Concatenate, Transform, Diff type of loads, etc.

you can prepare it in one month,(i think so), because i done it in one month , without development experience,

but i am having other IT development experience.

Please realize that the book is not for free distribution. The authors/piblisher have put their effort to write the great book. They must be paid what they deserve. Probably it's not ethical to offer public distribution and should not be encouraged such acts. The moderators of the community might have to have a look at such posts
