      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) If you're trying to copy the layout (that is, make the Excel file look like a pivot table, with merged cells) - you can use a simple Copy-paste (copy the table in QV, paste in Excel). Alternatively, see &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.qlik.com/message/15593#15593"&gt;this thread&lt;/A&gt; for a macro solution. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) If you're trying to create an actual Excel pivot table based on a QlikView pivot table - this can't be done directly from QV as far as I know, and it wouldn't make any sense either - you'd be using Excel's pivot table mechanism to aggregate values that have already been aggregated in QV. If you'd like to replicate your QV logic and create a pivot table based on that in Excel, I'd recommend saving the raw data as CSV (when running the script) and reading that with Excel's pivot table mechanism.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
