Can anybody explain me the direct discovery feature in QlikView....

i already have gone through the document released, Please can anybody throgh some light on it in simple language...

Direct discovery is a new functionality where the application data for a selective table can be updated without a full reload of the document.....so every time a new session is created, the data for this direct discovery table is updated selectively while the other Qlikview tables contain the old data....still need more details ?

Hi,

Through Direct Discovery Functionality u can get real time data. Dimension r loaded into Qlikview Server Memory & Measure come from Database on the fly or selection.
