Multiple Alternate States OR Set Analysis

I have created 2 Alternate states "FinanceTab" and "Headcount Tab"

PROBLEM: i want the Payment Type filter at the top, to affect ONLY the Finance box at the bottom and not the Headcount box, BUT i want the fruits filter to affect both of those boxes.

QUESTION: How do i use the Alternate states for this?

Or should i be using set analysis? the problem with that is i might have to list every filter i want to be able to affect it, in the expression.Any thoughts?

try this in your headcount text box

=sum({<[Payment Type]>}[Employee Number])
