Preload checkbox on Management Console becomes unchecked

We have the preload check box checked under Document/Server/Performance on the Management Console. We have discovered that this randomly gets unchecked. Does anyone know what could cause this? There are only 2 of use using the Console and neither of us is unchecking this box.

Found the solution that I should check the box under Source Documents, not User Documents.

where are the source documents?

Under Documents. Maybe its different if you dont have the Publisher.

and yes, it is different, i do not have the Publisher and do not get the Source Documents tab

good to know, i ticked the preload box under User Documents.

We are having this same problem - but I can't see a preload box under 'source documents'... can you explain what you mean?

We are on QV10.
