Optimizing performance of the file

Hello,

I am having 10MB file and when i try opening it from my desktop or through accesss point it is taking a lot of time to process it.

As the size of the file is going to increase overtime.I am trying to find what would be the best practices and techiniques can be followed to increase the performance of the qlikview application.

I have gone through the links in the forum but it has improved performance on some parts.But overall performance is still slow.

Can any one please let me know.

HI,

Try following settings on server.

QEMC -> Document Tab -> Click on the application, right side you can see the Performance Tab

You will find "PRE-LOAD"

Check that option.

This will actually keep the Application open in RAM.

So if you are opening the document for the first time after doing this setting, it will take the same time but when you open it again, it will be faster.
