Help with rangesum - cumulative stacked bar chart

Hi All,

I'm trying to work with rangesum, but I'm having difficulties. Here is the data that I'm loading into QlikView.

Month	User	Value
1/1/2013	Chris	30
1/2/2013	Chris	50
1/2/2013	James	35
1/3/2013	Chris	80

I'm currently using

rangesum

(above(total sum(Value), 0, rowno(Total)))

My output is a stacked bar chart that should look the attached picture I created in Paint.

I also attached the qvw I'm using and the xlsx.

Try rangesum(sum(value),0,RowNo()); rangesum(sum(value),0,NoOfRows()) would probably work too if it just stops when it gets to the top.

Hi I am not sure..

The other way is create 2 bar charts one with values inside the chart and the other with total values. make one of them as transaparent and stack two charts together.. or one over the other..

Thanks, this is very helpful. The only problem is that I actually have MANY users and is prone to changes. I cannot hardcode every User in.
