how to create a dynamic sheet object.

i want to create a dynamic sheet object.

for example : a customer has a few machinery.

i bulid a graf with measure .

every time the user choose a machine the graf change.

i want to give the ability to user that when he choose customer he will get a several graf's one for each machine .

if the customer have 2 machine , 2 graf's , 4 machine , 4 graf's etc...

Hi,

You should store your data in a fact table on customer and machine level, i.e.

customer1 machine1

customer1 machine2

customer2 machine3

etc.

It would be best if you could send å snapshot of your data in Excel.

When data storage is clear, you build a usual chart. In the dimension tab, add Machine as dimension and enable trellis charts ("Trellis..." button at the bottom of the dimension tab.). I can't give you a full solution now, but I think you can achieve what you want by checking the way I described.

Here's a quick example which you hopefully can use as a template. Hope it helps you further. Look how trellis are behaving when you use the listboxes!

how can i present few straigth table for each Machine ?

Hi again,

Unfortunately, I have no solution for the straight table problem. You can maybe use conditionals (Chart Properties / Layout / Show - Conditional...), but then you must know the max number of objects you need, and this number is probably not know. Since this question is different from your first one, I propose you mark this chat as solved and create a new item for the straight table problem. There are some really experiences people in here who probably can help you.

I've never done this before myself, because I've only sent answers and not registered questions. But your last message is marked as "Helpful Answer" by somebody There should be a button or hyperlink or something under Actions or More. For me it's no problem if you don't find out how to mark the question as answered, but I'm afraid you won't get replies to your straight table problem if you don't register a new question. You can do that even if you don't finish this chat, of course.

You see, I am not an expert on this forum compared to so many others...
