Read Only Chart question

Hi All,

I have a chart where every field is 'clickable'. I can make this 'read only' by setting the check box in the general field. But what I want to to is to have just one field clickable and the others read only. Does anybody know if there is a way to do this ?

Not really. If the column is a field and not a calculated dimension or expression you could add a Clear Field action to the field trigger so any selection in that field is undone immediatly. If you're using QV11 you can use alternate states if you don't want the field cleared for all objects, but just that one chart/table.

Thanks. I am working along similar lines. I can put a trigger on the selection and a macro that can pick up which object it was selected on. So if it was selected from the chart in question I can, as you say, re clear (or at least reset) to any existing selections.
