hi,

Bookmarks are server-sided as you mentioned.

I believe you can use QVPowerTools

http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-3059

I've never used it myself, but you can try the 'Shared File Viewer'

I suggest you analyze and export the data and after the users report a lost bookmark you use the tool again to compare the results.

Hope it helps,

Erich

Hi all,

At one of our customers, there is a complaint that bookmarks that are created in a document, are lost after 2 or 3 days.

We're investigating why this is, but so far no results (yet).

My question is

1: what are the relevant settings to check?

(perhaps the bookmarks expire???) or

2: what could be the reason that these bookmarks get lost?

Background

>This customer uses Citrix-environment. They have the feeling this might be a reason.

I however think that bookmarks are server-side so it should not be a problem??

Thanks in advance for your input!

Thanks for the reply.

At this point I do not (yet) see how this could help (I expect to see the bookmark is missing 🙂 )

But I didn't know of the existence of these tools, so I'll first investigate them. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any other suggestions about what the issue can be? Perhaps someone has the same issues?
